Position Overview:

The Clean Team Member at Bricolage Academy is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This role requires a strong commitment to building cleanliness and safety, as well as excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and maintaining restrooms and common areas.

• Conduct regular inspections of the school facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.

• Lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs, including furniture, equipment, and supplies.

• Assist in maintaining supply inventory and report any shortages to the supervisor.

• Respond to requests from staff and faculty in a timely and professional manner to ensure a productive environment.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

• Support special events and activities through setup and cleanup as needed.

• Collaborate with other staff to optimize safety and cleanliness across the facility.

• Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and visitors through excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus.

• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks.

• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, products, and equipment.

Working Conditions:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to cleaning chemicals and require personal protective equipment.

• The position may require work during evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on school events and needs.
