Facilities Coordinator
The Facility Manager plays a central role in planning, organizing, and supervising the cleaning and care of the school’s facilities and grounds.
The Facility Manager will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and manage the custodial and maintenance vendors.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintenance
Develops and executes maintenance and construction programs.
Prepares work schedules; requisitions materials, tools, and equipment needed to complete job tasks.
Initiates action to correct or repair damaged property; assigns crews to perform work; and inspects work upon completion.
Ensures that the lighting, heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems are operating properly.
Coordinates the maintenance and set up of athletic/sporting events supported and/or sponsored by Bricolage Academy.
Maintains all records of repairs, renovations, and scheduled preventative maintenance.
Performs follow-ups on maintenance and service procedures and vendors.
Custodial
Plans, organizes, schedules and oversees custodial and grounds operations and activities and assures compliance with rules and regulations related to assigned activities.
Conducts physical inventory of custodial and grounds equipment and supplies
Research new products and meet with vendors as appropriate.
Assists with various activities including moving furniture, setting up facilities for special events and other activities as needed.
Other:
Determines the need for emergency renovation, carpentry services, plumbing, electrical, etc.
Works closely with the leadership team to determine current and future needs.
Enforces state, local, and Bricolage Academy policies and standards.
Orders and distributes supplies
Remain on-call for emergency situations as assigned.
Maintains relationships with NOLA PS for building compliance and inspections.
Qualifications include:
Required

Some college
Operations, facilities, maintenance and/or procurement experience
Preferred
Bachelor's degree
Multilingual
Fluent Spanish speaker
Management experience
